Arusha National Park is a scenic and diverse destination located near the city of Arusha in northern Tanzania. The park is known for its beautiful landscapes, including the slopes of Mount Meru, lush forests, open grasslands, the Momella Lakes and the dramatic Ngurdoto Crater.
Although smaller than many of Tanzania’s major safari parks, Arusha National Park offers a rich variety of wildlife and outdoor experiences. Visitors may see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, bushbucks and several species of monkeys, including the black-and-white colobus. The park is also an excellent destination for birdwatching, walking safaris and canoeing on the Momella Lakes.
